Mahua – One of the important schemes of the government, the Nal Jal Yojana,run under the Seven Nishchay Yojana,is dying in the rural areas of Mahua block. For the past several days, people are not getting water from the Jal Nal Yojana. Because of this, people are consuming contaminated water containing fluoride somewhere. Due to which people are getting angry. According to the information, since last one week, people are not getting the benefit of the Nal Jal Yojana, which is one of the important schemes of the government in ward number 12 of Rusulpur Mowarak Panchayat. Due to this a lot of resentment is being seen among the villagers. Dozens of people, including youth leaders Suvodh Yadav, Rakesh Kumar, Alok Kumar, Deepak Kumar,told that due to non-availability of water from the tap water scheme for months, the villagers here have to drink contaminated water containing fluoride. Due to which the villagers are upset. Villagers said that the Panchayat Secretary has been informed several times in this regard, but no initiative is being taken in this direction.
