25 great personalities honored with Corona Award

Divisional Level Journalist Conference cum Corona Warriors Award Ceremony was organized by Indian Journalist Association at Raj Kamal Vivah Bhawan Jamalpur under the chairmanship of Divisional President Dr. Shashi Kant Suman. Munger MLA Pranav Kumar as the chief guest in the honor ceremony, National President Seraj Ahmad Quraishi as a special guest, State Patron Vijay Anand, Dainik Santosh Sahai, State President Ranjit Samrat, Bureau Chief of Prabhat Khabar Rana Gauri Shankar Singh, little Reporter’s editor Pooja Pandey was present. Addressing about the role of fourth pillar in democracy, MLA Pranav Kumar said that the land of Bihar is the mother of democracy. And the journalist has an important role in saving democracy. I will talk to the Labor Minister to make journalist insurance protection, pension scheme flexible in the interest of journalists. Along with this, I will raise my voice in the assembly to hand over the Press Club to the journalist organization. National President Seraj Ahmad Quraishi said that the state’s patron Santosh Sahai is the fourth pillar of democracy, demanding the implementation of the Journalists Protection Act, Pension Scheme for journalists. For this, along with implementing the security law, he talked about implementing the minimum wage for journalists. The same Prabhat Khabar bureau chief said that in today’s time journalism has been in a terrible race. For fair journalism the journalist needs to do his business. In the ceremony, 25 personalities who did social service during the Corona period were honored with organ clothes, Corona Warriors certificates. Along with this, journalist colleagues from other districts including Munger, Lakhisarai, Jamui, Bhagalpur have also been honored with Corona Warriors Award.
On the occasion, State General Secretary KM Raj, State Vice President Brij Mohan Bhagat, Pankaj Jha, State Treasurer Manish Kumar, Chandan Verma, Lakhisarai District President Sunil Kumar, Jamui District President Abhishek Kumar Sinha, Sheikhpura District President Dheeraj Sinha, Executive District President Dhannamal, Divisional General Secretary Gaurav Mishra, District Vice President Sanjay Prasad Singh, Deepak Naurangi, Minhaj, Ganesh Dutt Ishwar, and others were present.
