Indian Journalist Association office bearers burnt the effigy of Union Minister of State for Home. Journalists of Mainpuri rallied against the dictator Minister of State for Home. In Mainpuri, hundreds of Indian Journalist Association officials came out on the road under the leadership of Saqib Anwar Chishti, State President of the Indian Journalist Association Western Uttar Pradesh and Ajay Dixit alias Sonu Dixit, District President of the Association. On Kachari Road, the officials of the Indian Journalist Association opened a front and raised slogans against the Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra. There was anger among the journalists against the Minister of State for Home. Journalists set the effigy of the Minister of State for Home Affairs on fire. During this, Saqib Anwar Chishti, State President of Indian Journalist Association Western Uttar Pradesh said that this is not a new thing. Journalists are insulted in the BJP government. The State President has demanded from His Excellency the President that the resignation of such dictatorial Minister of State for Home, who used abusive language with the fourth pillar, should be taken immediately. In Lakhimpur Kheri, the SIT team can conduct a fair investigation only when Ajay Kumar Mishra is removed from the ministerial charge. District President Ajay Dixit said that for the past many years, journalists are insulted at some places and in some places journalists are shot and killed in public. His Excellency President and His Excellency the Governor of the state should make a strict law for the safety of journalists. So that no one can play with the honor and dignity of journalists. During this, the office bearer of the association, Deepak Katheria also expressed his views. On this occasion, senior journalist and senior office bearer of the association Pramod Jha also expressed his anger against Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra. During this, Indian Journalist Association officials Atul Saxena, Deepak Katheria, Afaq Ali, Salman Mansoori, Nadeem Siddiqui, Ankit Shukla, Israr Ahmed, Deepak Sharma, Vishal Sharma, Rajmohan, Akshay Aryan, Arun Yadav, Devendra Singh Pal, Gaurav Pandey, Rashid Hussain, Javed Umar, Satyendra Kumar, Avnish Kumar, Shivkumar, Amit Kaushik, Kamlesh Kumar, Avnish Mishra, Jeetu, Rampal, dozens of journalists were present in the crowd. The State President said that if the BJP government at the Center does not take any concrete steps against the Minister of State for Home, then the journalists will be compelled to stage a sit-in, and they will take to the streets to fight for their honor and rights. / Report Nasim Rabbani
